Another odds-on favourite. Although the Portuguese property market lost some momentum at the beginning of the decade, the tide is turning once again and thanks to the low-cost airlines, favourable attention from the media and the ever increasing exodus of Brits and other Europeans to sunnier climes, Portugal is enjoying another upturn in its fortunes. |

With miles of spotless sandy beaches, a climate to die for, superb golf facilities second to none and a hospitable local population it is hardly surprising to find Portugal once again amongst the experts' top locations. |
